How does wood pellet cat litter work?

Add a layer of pellets to a clean, dry litter tray.

When the pellets come into contact with urine, they absorb the moisture and gradually break down into sawdust. Solid waste should be removed regularly, while wet, broken-down litter can be removed or sifted out as required.

Top up the tray with fresh pellets to replace the litter you've removed.

Wood pellet litter does not clump like traditional clumping cat litter. Neither does it track over floors.
